Verity Wood

Born and raised in Melbourne, Verity graduated from Federation University’s Arts Academy Ballarat with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting in 2016. Her stage credits include As You Like It, Love and Information, Three Sisters and On the Wallaby.
Verity has had extensive dance training in ballet, tap and jazz she recently worked on a devised project with performance artist Jill Orr entitled We Stand Together, We Stand Alone.  She has directed a student show titled Sakura which explored loss, redemption and regeneration.
Finding joy in performing in The Moon’s A Balloon with Patch Theatre Company at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat, Verity knows the importance for creating and performing in theatre for children and families in regional areas.
She is enthusiastic about Japan and has recently returned from a trip there, where she learnt the country’s theatre culture, art and skiing.
