Bjorn is an experienced media professional and emerging creative artist with a drive for perfection in projects – be it film, writing or performing. While completing his Bachelor of Arts (Drama) at Deakin University, Bjorn wrote and performed with 4Play Ensemble, in the self-devised piece Can I Live Tomorrow for a short season at Deakin University and Australian Centre of Performing Arts.

After graduating, he volunteered with Back to Back Theatre on their tour to Germany in 2007. Bjorn returned to study in 2012 to complete a Certificate III & IV in Media and is now working in freelance film and editing.

Bjorn also performs bagpipes for community events around Victoria.

Making his long-awaited return to the stage in 2016, Bjorn starred in A Postcard from My Black Dog as part of Bendigo Theatre Company’s Ten x 10. Along with Megan Riedl, Bjorn re-wrote this piece into what became Travels with My Black Dog, also co-directing the production for its first tour in January 2017.

Bjorn acted in Tripwire’s first production – The Let Down Reflex – and was nominated for Best Male Actor at the 2106 Kyuneton One Act Play Festival.

Bjorn was born in Germany and grew up in Geelong, and now lives with his partner Ali in Ulverstone, Tasmania.
