Active Member Adam Headshot 2

Adam Roche brings 20 years experience in the arts industry to Tripwire Theatre Inc. From performing and writing to management and front of house – you name it – he’s probably done it.

After graduating from University of Ballarat with a Diploma of Arts: Small Companies and Community Theatre in 2000, Adam delved into the world of educational theatre.  He co-created and operated Teaching New Tricks, focusing on workshops and performances in puppetry.  Adam took his skills to the USA in 2008, where he mentored and tutored many future stars of stage and screen.

He has written and performed in hundreds of short comedy pieces, including the infamous ‘Ode To Whitney’ series and starred in a number of successful short films both in Australia and abroad. Returning to the touring life with long time collaborator and dear friend Katrina Hill in 2009, Adam spent the entire year traveling the country with motivational educational performances.

After working in Arts Administration for well over a decade and juggling his own music career with band Romantasaurus, Adam is beyond delighted to be returning to the stage with Tripwire Theatre Inc’s production of Travels With My Black Dog, a play very close to his own heart.
