Spoiled for choice in Spring

Our members are flitting about like theatre butterflies this Spring, we’re so spoiled for choice of shows to attend.

Liana Skewes is a supporting actress in Ballarat National Theatre’s spring production of rollicking school-days comedy Daisy Pulls it Off. 30 Sept – 1 Oct at the Old Courthouse Theatre, Ballarat.

Jacob Honeychurch and Sharon Newth star in Synchronicity’s production of the classic Hound of the Baskervilles. October 26-28 at the Engine Room, Bendigo.

Simon Carroll will be treading the boards on the Otway Fly in Midsummer Night’s Dream as part of the Shakespeare in the Otways. October 21.

And not featuring any Tripwire people, but still exciting to put on your list:

Fed Uni Arts Academy presents Serious Courage – an epic season of shows by the final-year Acting and Musical Theatre students including Serious Money, Mother Courage and Her Children, and Sweeney Todd.

Creswick Theatre Company presents Georg Buchner’s unfinished masterpiece Woyzeck at the Old Courthouse, Creswick.

Bendigo Theatre Company’s showstopper musical Legally Blonde will be opening on 19th October for 5 shows only at Ulumbarra Theatre.

Tribe Youth Theatre’s first ever production, the circus musical Barnum. Opening September 28th for 8 shows.
