The Travels with My Black Dog project moves into phase 2 over the next few months.
Thanks to the Go Pitch Regional Support Fund, Linden Read and Megan Riedl will be off to Showcase Victoria 2017 on 30 May and 1 June at the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne.
While we won’t be pitching Black Dog, Linden and Megan will be seeing how the performing arts marketplace event works; talking to presenters about the logistics of having a van as the set piece; and getting tips from other producers who’ve toured successfully before. And of course, networking their butts off!
Go Pitch is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
The team is also preparing applications for the Regional Arts Victoria 2018 Education Touring program, and to the VCAA 2108 Playlist, which will see Black Dog included as a play for study by VCE Drama and Theatre Studies students in 2018.
