Hollow Table Reading gives a glimpse of future greatness

The cast of Hollow came together for the first time on Thursday evening in the Daylesford Town Hall. A small audience of parents of the children in the cast, Tripwire Committee members, Production Team members and some VIP guests listened on.

Before beginning rehearsals on Sunday, the cast came together for a full-length reading of the script, to get a sense of the piece as a whole; to get a sense of the voices of their fellow actors and to get a sense of their interpretations of the characters.

Writer/Director Megan Riedl shared her experiences in writing the piece and images which have inspired her for the look and feel of the production. The cast and guests were also shown the diagrams for set design and costume inspirations.

Bill Elder shared his original compositions – musical themes which will underscore the action and facilitate moving from one scene to another.

Tickets to Hollow are now available online with Early-bird discounts available until 7th May.
