Bendigo members get amongst it

Bendigo members and friends – there’s so much going on in this great city of the arts, and our local committee members are right there at the centre of the action.

Alise Amarant will be starting an ongoing casual acting class for over 40s at Helen O’Grady Drama Academy, as a direct result of the conversations at the Make a Change Australia Greater Bendigo Curriculum for Change forum.

Sharon Newth is starring in Synchronicity’s upcoming production of “It’s my party..and I’ll die if I want to” from June 1st – 3rd at The Engine Room, The Old Fire Station, View St Bendigo. Tickets are now on sale.

Cameron Fish is busy interpreting the set designs for Hollow and building an epic tree in his workshop ready for our latest production. And our newest Bendigo member Jacob Honeychurch is researching Dja Dja Wurrung ancestor Tommy Farmer for his role in Hollow.

Our friends at Bendigo Theatre Company have begun a new youth acting group, Tribe,  and are currently taking Production Team Applications for their next musical “Legally Blonde” being performed at the Ulumbarra Theatre in October 2017.
